AI and the Future of Media



AI is rapidly transforming the landscape of media and content creation. Algorithms now power recommendation systems on platforms like YouTube and Spotify, offering highly personalized experiences to users. This technology is enhancing consumer expectations for tailored content and creating new opportunities for businesses (TechTarget, 2024). 

Furthermore, AI is contributing to new forms of creative content, such as virtual influencers and deepfake videos, which challenge the traditional boundaries of authenticity and art. However, this progress raises significant ethical questions, especially regarding the displacement of human workers in creative fields and concerns about privacy (TechTarget, 2024; Live Science, 2023).
